Sylvanian Families are little flocked (furry) animal dolls ranging from 3 - 9cm in size, with movable limbs, adorable faces and changeable clothes. They exist in family groups where there is usually a mummy, daddy, brother and sister doll. Some family groups come with baby dolls or they can be bought separately. Sylvanian Families are available as various types of animals from rabbits to squirrels, dogs, cats, mice, bears, sheep, pandas and more! These Sylvanian Families dolls have homes, furniture, shops, transport, toys, clothes, accessories and food just like us! Except they're much much smaller of course. In dollhouse terms, Sylvanians are roughly 1/16 to 1/18 scale. In the UK, Japan, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, they are known as "Sylvanian Families". In the US, they are better known as "Calico Critters". |
